Networkers Sessions

Networkers program sessions are spread across the multiple tracks discussed below, with each track providing a comprehensive overview a single technology or topic. Depending on your interests and educational priorities, you can create a focused agenda from sessions in a single track, or you can pick and choose sessions from multiple tracks and Cisco Live’s other educational programs (Developer Network, IT Management, and Service Provider) for a cross-discipline curriculum.

The Networkers program also includes the certification opportunities that can help you earn the credentials that pave the way to increased opportunity.

With a wide range of sessions covering today’s leading network technologies and topics, the Networkers program provides the education and training to help you advance your career goals and make you a valuable asset to your organization.

Data Center and Virtualization

The Data Center and Virtualization track offers a broad range of technical and strategic topics to help you understand how to plan, design, deploy, and maintain a next-generation data center. You can gain a strong understanding of the Cisco technologies, architectures, and applications involved, and learn troubleshooting techniques, and explore implementation considerations for application networking solutions, server virtualization, high-performance computing, and storage area networking. The Data Center and Virtualization track also offers insight into current data center trends and existing solutions for common challenges such as limited floor space, power, and cooling. Sessions in this track also address federal, state, and industry compliance issues, including green initiatives.

Network Infrastructure and Systems

The Network Infrastructure and Systems track features sessions designed to help build your expertise in layer two and layer three control plane services and the hardware and software components needed to implement these services. As these services underlie the operation of the entire network, they are critical to designing and managing a highly available network that supports business continuity and regulatory and strategic business objectives. The principles discussed are applicable to campus, branch, data center, and wide area networks. Topics include understanding, deploying, and troubleshooting routing, switching, virtualization (including MPLS and other tunneling technologies), Cisco IOS software, Cisco hardware architecture and operation, services, and network management.
